Blythswood Care - Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2024

It is never too early to start preparing for the 2024 Christmas Shoebox Appeal. We have been asked, where possible, to use boxes measuring 16.5cms in width by 12cms in height and 38.5cms in length. This is to make it easier to pack the filled boxes into the large cartons which are used to transport the boxes on to their final destination in Eastern Europe.

We are asking you all, therefore, to hold on to any such boxes you may have and drop them off at the vestibule of Brodick Church, at any time, where they will be stored for use later on in the year. We are always happy to receive knitted items, in particular, scarves and gloves for either adults or children so if you have some spare time between now and October you could perhaps have a go at knitting.
