Visitor Information

We are a new parish first coming into existence in September 2023.  The parish covers the whole island and has four worship centres: Lochranza and the north, Brodick in the east, Shiskine in the west and Whiting Bay in the south.

What is our church on the island all about?

The Isle of Arran Parish is a friendly, warm welcoming and all-inclusive congregation striving to serve God and the community in worship, faith, fellowship and action. It is a place where people know they are accepted, valued, loved and cared for by God’s grace.

The Kirk Session, consisting of the elders from the four worship centres, has formed small teams, which, in collaboration with the Minister, and utilising the talents and energy of the congregation, will reach out to serve the wider community.  Volunteers from the congregation and the community are always welcome – whether they attend a worship centre or not.  We are keen to work with all organisations and individuals on the island who are willing to share their talents, envisaging that this will allow the congregation to thrive for years to come.

If you would like to know more about what we do and what we believe, there is more information on this website, including contact emails but you would be most welcome if you were able to visit us in person.  Come and join us at our Sunday worship: Whiting Bay and Lochranza at 10am and Brodick and Shiskine at 11.30am.
